The Chicago Blackhawks have been parading the Stanley Cup around the world during the offseason, and captain Jonathan Toews used the famous trophy to bring joy to children in Winnipeg recently.
As part of a campaign to help Canadian children to become more physically active, Toews brought the Cup to his hometown and challenged kids to a game of street hockey. What followed was, by all accounts, awesome:
It’s always fun to see players lifting up the Cup and experiencing the joy that comes along with it, but seeing the faces of children light up is arguably an even better experience.
