The Buzz: Representing the 32nd since 2008, Thapedi currently serves on the Public Utilities Committee and the International Trade & Commerce Committee, among others. Thapedi also is a partner at law firm Thapedi & Thapedi, where he represents injured people and civil litigation businesses. He spent eight years as an attorney with Earl L. Neal and Associates, LLC. During his high school years, Thapedi was selected as a “Chicagoland Outstanding Student.”
