Mayor Rahm Emanuel's time on the witness stand Wednesday morning amounted to just five minutes.
Emanuel testified after Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. He said that no one ever conveyed a fundraising request to him for the northwest side school that Blagojevich allegedly promised a grant to then delayed in an attempt to force a fundraiser through then-congressman Emanuel's wealthy brother.
Emanuel also said no one requested that he fund a private foundation in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett.
The government had no questions for the Chicago mayor.
