Love hurts.
But Lorena Bobbitt implied that her ex-hubby has let his emotional scars heal -- and may still be swooning for the woman who hacked off his manhood 16 years ago.
"He keeps on leaving messages or sending me Valentine's cards or flowers, roses," Lorena told CBS' "The Insider" in an exclusive interview to air tonight and tomorrow. "Maybe he thinks that we're still married."
Lorena Bobbitt and John Wayne Bobbitt reunited for the first time in 16 years a bizarre and candid on-camera interview.
It's been close to two decades since Lorena, then 24-years old, cut off John's penis while he was sleeping on June 23, 1993, after he allegedly raped her when came home from a night of partying.
"I never thought that anyone could be that evil," John said during the interview. "I wanted to kill myself."
John, whose penis was reattached after it was severed by his ex, said he forgave Lorena.

"Sorry about the way I was back then. I was an a--hole. ... I failed to love you the way I should have," he said.
"You drove me to that, John," Lorena said. "You drove me crazy."
Lorena remembered in stunning detail the cringe-worthy play-by-play that night.
"I remember driving with his severed penis in my hand, and in my other hand, I had the knife," she said. "I didn't even know how I got into the car, and apparently, I had to toss it somewhere because I couldn't turn the wheel of my car, so I got rid of the thing. ...Then I learned at the hospital later that it was his penis."
Bobbitt was found not guilty by reason of insanity in January 1994, and John was charged with marital sexual assault. After six years of marriage, the pair divorced.
The interview is slated to air tonight on CBS.
