Chicago police say 10 people have been wounded in eight shootings that took place overnight.
Police say the shootings happened between 11 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday on the city's west and northwest sides.
The first people injured were a 22-year-old man and 18-year-old woman who were shot about 10:45 p.m. Saturday in Albany Park while sitting on a porch.
Five more males between the ages of 17 and 25 were wounded in five separate shootings between about 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
Then two 19-year-old men were shot about 4 a.m. in South Austin. Police say a bullet grazed one's ear, but the other was shot in the head and abdomen.
The final shooting was just after 4 a.m., when a 23-year-old man was shot in the ankle in Humbolt Park.
