Two are dead after an aircraft crashed about a half mile northeast of the Monmouth Airport Sunday, according to NBC-affiliate KWQC.
Our Officials said they responded to a call around 11 a.m. Sunday, where a fire crew shortly extinguished the burning aircraft.
Our affiliate station reports that the Warren County Coroner declared the death of two people at the scene, their names were not immediately released.
Police say no one on ground was injured.
Authorities believe it was a private aircraft. The investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration is still ongoing.
