A taxi cab turned a Loop restaurant into a drive-through Tuesday - literally.
A white taxi was about three-quarters of the way through after crashing into the front door of Petterino's restaurant, at Randolph and Dearborn, CBS2 reported.
The driver said he was pulling over to pick up a passenger when another car rear-ended him, sending his cab into Petterino's.
There is considerable damage to the building, but no apparent injuries, police dispatchers said.
Several fire engines and Chicago police vehicles were at the scene.
Police closed Dearborn Street from Washington Street north to Lake Street.
