A lot of things can have an impact on a runner’s time in the Chicago Marathon, but thankfully, the weather doesn’t look like it will be one of them.
Sunday’s forecast looks to be ideal running conditions for marathoners taking to Chicago streets.
The morning will start out with mostly clear skies and chilly morning temps. Highs will start off in the upper-40s as runners take to the starting line. Conditions will turn mostly sunny and stay cool for the afternoon as winds increase.
Temperature highs will reach into the upper-60s later in the day.
The race will be broadcast on NBC 5 and live streamed on the NBC Chicago app beginning at 7 a.m. CT.
Runners will travel along the course that snakes through 29 neighborhoods in the city as they complete the 26.2-mile feat.
