NOTE: NBC Chicago will offer a live stream with complete 2019 race coverage beginning at 7 a.m. on Oct. 13 right here.
Bank of America Chicago Marathon runners can celebrate their race time with a drinkable trophy.
Marathon organizers announced they're bringing back the personalized Goose Island beer can for post-race celebrations.
The cans, designed specially for the marathon, will leave a space where runners can write in their finish times while also offering up runners a cold 312 Drop-Hopped.
"Celebrate the Chicago way," the marathon wrote in a Facebook post.
The beer, which is brewed locally, will be 312’s Dry Hopped, described by the brewery as “a different spin on 312 Urban Wheat.” It has what brewers say are “lemony, doughy notes” with “extra brightness.”
Goose Island will be dishing out 312 Urban Wheat Ale or a Born + Raised Creame Ale at the Biofreeze 27th Mile Post-Race Party in Butler Field after the race.

The outdoor celebration will feature live music and food and beverages. Race participants 21 and over can redeem a tear-off portion of their bib number for a beer.
