Nearly 3M Units of Craft Paints Recalled Due to Harmful Bacteria

The paints were sold at Hobby Lobby, Walmart and other stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and ShopSargentArt.com from May 2015 through June 2016

About 2.8 million units of craft paints sold in stores across the U.S. have been recalled due to containing harmful bacteria. 

The recall involves 13 types of Sargent Art Tempera and Finger Paints in different colors and sizes. The paints were sold at Hobby Lobby, Walmart and other stores nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and ShopSargentArt.com from May 2015 through June 2016.

Consumers are being urged to stop using the paints immediately and contact Sargent Art for a full refund, according to the recall from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
