The Eatalian experience just got better.
La Scuola Di Eataly Chicago opened Wednesday at the Ohio Street Italian food mecca.
The school offers 90-minute classes about Italian cooking and techniques, with up to 50 students per class. Hands won’t be for cooking in the class, but they’ll certainly be for eating as students will be able to sample each of the meals prepared by instructors.
Students can purchase ingredients used in the classes, which range from the art of winter risotto to Italian comfort food to getting to know gnocchi.
Chef Lidia Bastianich will serve as dean of the school, described as “Italy for food lovers from the people who are most passionate about food, wine and beer.”
