Chicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon is known for his relaxed and casual approach to what can be a stressful occupation, but the team took things to a new level on Tuesday as they welcomed some furry friends to the Friendly Confines.
Thanks to Roger Germann, an Executive VP at the Shedd Aquarium, we have some pictures of Maddon and several Cubs players interacting with a variety of animals.
We just hope that the grounds crew cleans up the field before starting left fielder Kyle Schwarber heads out there Tuesday night.

Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, and Travis Wood all were on-hand to check out a sloth as well:

Rizzo wasn’t content to just hang out with one animal, as he got to play with a snow leopard:

According to other reporters on the scene, several other animals were brought out for the enjoyment of the team:

Maddon also showed off a flamingo named Warren during a press conference as seen above.
