Dear "Making a Murderer" fans: Here's your big chance to ask all of your burning questions. The lawyers involved in Steven Avery's defense team will hold a discussion about his case.
Dean Strang and Jerry Buting will participate in a moderated discussion about the criminal justice system, as well as the “broader implications” of the convicted killer’s case.
The event will take place at The Riverside Theater on Friday, March 18. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Jan. 29th, at noon.

Last Thursday, a Milwaukee news station received a handwritten letter from Avery, in which he responds to ex-fiancée Jodi Stachowski’s explosive allegation that Avery beat and threatened to kill her.
In the three-page letter, Avery maintains his innocence.
“Here, put this on and I will talk to you,” the handwritten portion of the letter begins. “And do an investigation of the sheriff of Manitowoc County”

Avery became the focus of national attention after “Making a Murderer” debuted on Netflix last month. The series documents Avery’s 18 years in prison for a rape he didn’t commit, and his subsequent arrest on murder charges in a separate case.
He is currently serving life in prison for the murder of 25-year-old Teresa Halbach, but filed an appeal earlier this month.
