Man Robs Chicago Loop Bank in Broad Daylight

The FBI is searching for a man they say robbed a Chase Bank branch Thursday afternoon in the Loop

A man robbed a Chase Bank branch Thursday afternoon in the Loop.

About 12:15 p.m., he walked into the branch at 2 N. Lasalle St. and announced a robbery, according to the FBI and Chicago Police. The man then ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He did not show a weapon and no one was injured in the robbery, authorities said.

The robber is described as a white man, thought to be in his 30s, standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-6 with a slender build and an unshaven face, authorities said. He was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, a blue outer vest, a dark-colored baseball cap and dark-colored pants.
