A small plane made an emergency landing at Chicago Executive Airport Wednesday afternoon in a dramatic scene caught on camera.
The airport said the small twin Cessna 310 had nose gear problems after take-off and was burning fuel in the air before landing. The plane was seen circling the airport numerous times for several tense minutes before making its emergency landing more than an hour after its takeoff.
Video footage showed the plane swerve slightly after landing before its nose turned down and the aircraft came to a stop. Two people quickly jumped out of the plane after the landing as emergency vehicles moved in.
