For many in the Chicago area, Wednesday morning's commute will be a wet one.
Rain continues to soak already-drenched areas, bringing Flash Flood Watches to some locations, including Kenosha County and along the Fox River at the Algonquin Lock & Dam.
Areas, particularly in northern counties, will see moderate rain and scattered showers that will likely make for some wet roads.
The rain is expected to continue through morning and return again in the late-afternoon and evening hours, possibly becoming heavy at times with some embedded storms possible at night.
Meanwhile, temperature highs drop back down into the 60s and 70s, falling even lower later in the day - a dramatic shift from the mid-80s the area saw Tuesday.
