Seven people were injured in a crash involving two cars in the suburban Elk Grove Village overnight Friday.
The crash happened on southbound I-290 near Biesterfield Road in Elk Grove. Two cars were involved in the accident, and seven people total were injured, according to Illinois State Police.
The injured people were transported to a hospital, but officials have not confirmed which hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
