9/26/2014: Police say man walked into barbershop and started firing. NBC 5’s Natalie Martinez reports.
Three people were wounded in a shooting at a West Englewood barbershop Friday afternoon.
The victims were shot inside Suitables Beauty & Barber Salon, located in the 1900 block of West 59th Street, at about 2 p.m.
Police initially said one of the victims had died in the shooting, but later said the 22-year-old man was in critical condition after he was shot in the chest. A 44-year-old man who was also shot in the chest was listed in serious condition. A 31-year-old man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the hand.
Police say the victims are all confirmed gang members.
Nobody is in custody for the shooting.
