Tollway Oases Gas Stations Close Temporarily

Convenience stores will see Slurpees and Big Gulps

Double check your gas gage before driving onto the Illinois Tollway

7-Eleven is taking over the 17 years left on Exxon Mobil's lease, said Illinois Tollway spokeswoman Joelle McGinnis.

Several gas stations and convenience stores along the tollway closed to allow time for new software installation, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Those included the Hinsdale, Lake Forest, Des Plaines, O'Hare and Lincoln Oases.

Des Plaines, O'Hare and Lincoln Oases are expected to reopen Thursday afternoon.

Drivers will still see the Mobil brand while filling up. Yet, they can shop at the convenience stores for 7-Eleven favorites like Slurpees and Big Gulps.
