The Chicago Fire Department responded to a call of a boat on fire on the Chicago River near a condominium complex in the South Loop on Sunday evening.
Firefighters were called to the scene just after 8 p.m. in the 800 block of South Wells, officials said. The boat fire occurred on a dock underneath the River City Condominiums building, and firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.
Officials say that no one was injured in the fire, and that none of the units in the building were evacuated as a result.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
