A man fishing in a Libertyville lake is dead after he suffered a medical issue and fell into the water, authorities announced Saturday.
The unidentified man fell into the lake on Saturday afternoon, and never resurfaced, Libertyville fire officials said.
Fire department divers from neighboring departments assisted in the search, and sonar equipment were brought to the scene, and he was located Saturday evening.
The man's identity has not been released, pending notification of his family.
