Earlier this month, Chicago White Sox broadcaster Ken “Hawk” Harrelson blasted Wrigley Field, and over the weekend, he doubled down on his criticism of the iconic ballpark.

“It’s just time for that ballpark to be replaced,” Harrelson told 670 the Score’s “Inside the Clubhouse.” “It’s just that simple. I’m just saying stuff that everybody knows who goes there. But nobody wanted to say it, so I decided yeah, I’ll never step another foot inside Wrigley Field.”

Harrelson, who will be retiring at the end of the 2018 season, will broadcast on a limited basis next year, and earlier this month he said that he will not be broadcasting the Cubs-Sox games at Wrigley Field. The two teams will play a three-game series at the Friendly Confines next year, but Harrelson will not be in attendance.

“It’s a joke,” Harrelson said in a recent interview. “It really is. And so, Jason (Benetti) is getting ready for those three at Wrigley. I will never step foot in that ballpark again. Ever.”

Harrelson isn’t the only member of the White Sox organization who has criticized Wrigley Field. Former manager Ozzie Guillen had some colorful remarks about the venerable ballpark, saying that there were rats bigger than pigs back in 2008.
