Three people -- including two police officers -- were hospitalized Thursday morning following a crash in the southwest Chicago suburb of Hickory Hills.
The officers were in the area of West 93rd Street and South 78th Court at about 1 a.m. when their squad car collided with a black Audi.
Based on the damage, it appears the driver of the Audi T-boned the squad car on the driver's side. The airbags in the squad car deployed.
Two officers in the squad car and the 22-year-old female driver of the Audi were taken to Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights and treated for minor injuries.
All three had been released from the hospital as of 11:30 a.m.
Charges were pending against the 22-year-old for suspicion of driving under the influence. She was not in custody as of midday Thursday.
