Festival-goers at the Pitchfork music festival were forced to evacuate the event Saturday after a Tornado Watch and Severe Thunderstorm Warning were issued in the Chicago area.
The festival announced the evacuation around 4 p.m. and tweeted that it would reopen at 4:20 p.m.
The music festival is held in Union Park July 17 to 19.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for the parts of the Chicago area until 10 p.m. Saturday as well as a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cook County until 4 p.m.
Parts of the Chicago area also remains under a Heat Advisory until 8 p.m.
