Has spring sprung in Chicago? It has for this week at least.
Temperatures will reach into the upper-50s and low-60s for most of the week, marking a shift from last week’s snowy and cold temps.
Tuesday will likely be the warmest day of the week, with some areas possibly hitting near 70 degrees. Temperature highs will sit in the mid- to upper-60s for most spots, well above-average for this time of year.
Occasional rain showers and a few thunderstorms are possible alongside windy conditions.
The remainder of the week looks to stay unseasonably warm, with the chance for periods of heavy rain and a few thunderstorms. Highs will stay in the low- to mid-50s for much of the Chicago area.
The weekend will likely stay wet and mild with lingering rain showers and temps in the 50s.
Meet Brian. He likes to run, and on this nice day in Chicago, apparently so do I.
