Chicago Blackhawks winger Patrick Kane missed the team’s morning skate in Vancouver due to illness, and is questionable to play in Wednesday’s game against the Canucks.
Kane, who is tied for the NHL lead in goals with 11 and in a tie for fourth in total points this season, has not missed a game since the 2014-15 season.
A final determination on Kane’s status will be made closer to puck drop.
If Kane is unable to play, then Andreas Martinsen would likely slot back into the lineup for the Blackhawks.
Puck drop between the Canucks and Blackhawks is set for 9 p.m. Central time.
