Former Vice President Joe Biden Speaking Friday At Northwestern University

The talk is closed to the public, but it can be livestreamed

Former Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to speak Friday at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Biden will address unequal economic growth throughout America, according to a press release. The presentation was coordinated by associate professor Ben Harris, Biden’s former chief economist and economic adviser.

The event, hosted at the Kellogg Global Hub, 2211 Campus Drive, Evanston, is sold-out, according to Taryn Tawoda, Kellogg’s associate director of external communications. Tickets were only available for Kellogg students and faculty.

Members of the public can still view the event via livestream starting 5:15 p.m. here and here.

Since Biden and Barack Obama left office, Biden founded the Biden Foundation, the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement at the University of Pennsylvania, the Biden Cancer Initiative and the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware.

The former vice president last visited Chicago when he took the stage at the Chicago Theatre in December on his American Promise Tour. On that tour he spoke about his memoir, “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose,” which was written in the wake his son Beau’s death.
