The countdown to 2025 is over, and it came with some epic Chicago fireworks shows.
Two iconic fireworks shows took place to ring in 2025 in Chicago.
Here's what to know about each:
Navy Pier Fireworks
This year's expanded show took place at midnight at Navy Pier.
The show, which lasted around 15 minutes, "cast a glow across the lakefront that could be enjoyed from indoor and outdoor vantage points all along the mile-long Pier" -- all free of charge, according to Navy Pier.

New Year's Eve in Chicago begins with parties and ends with fireworks.
Riverwalk Fireworks
Making its return this year, the Riverwalk event programming began at 10 p.m. The evening culminated with a majestic fireworks display from six bridges along the Chicago River beginning at midnight.
