A Chicago suburb has been named one of the best small cities in America.
North suburban Highland Park ranked among the top 20 small cities in America by finance website Wallethub.
The ranking looked at 1,268 small cities, defined as those with population sizes between 25,000 and 100,000. Each city was then ranked based on their affordability, economic health, education and health, quality of life and safety.
Highland Park made the list at no. 18.
The best small city in the U.S., according to the study, was Leakwood, Kansas.
Carmel, Indiana came in second place followed by Princeton, New Jersey, Brentwood, Tennessee and Milton, Massachusetts.
