Emanuel Announces 1,400 CPS Layoffs

Mayor Emanuel announced Wednesday Chicago Public Schools must make $200 million in cuts and slash 1,400 positions after the district had to borrow money to make a $634 million pension payment. NBC Chicago’s Charlie Wojciechowski reports.
