Eddie Olczyk ‘Not Surprised' by Blackhawks Trading Alex DeBrincat, Kirby Dach

The Blackhawks and new GM Kyle Davidson were busy on Thursday, starting the day without a first-round pick and finishing with three. Early in the afternoon, Alex DeBrincat was traded to the Ottawa Senators for 7th and 39th overall picks in the 2022 draft and a third-round pick in the 2024 draft. During the draft, Davidson made two trades. One sending Kirby Dach to the Montreal Canadiens for a 13th overall pick and the other adding Petr Mrazek to the roster and as well as acquiring the 25th overall pick.
