Restaurants continue to jump on the brunch bandwagon likes it's going out of style. Hubbard Inn announced that they will join the ranks of Davanti Enoteca, Table Fifty Two, and Great Lake by launching a brunch menu this Saturday.
What to expect: The menu features five skillets, with options like merguez sausage, gulf shrimp, braised pork shoulder, and applewood smoked ham. There are also "mains," which cover standard breakfast fare like steak and eggs, smoked salmon benedict, vanilla French toast, and mixed berry pancakes. Sandwiches and salads round out the lunch side. Surprising for a River North restaurant that walks the fine line between dinner spot and nightlife destination, Hubbard Inn's brunch menu features only two special brunch drinks: a "samurai" Bloody Mary, with sriracha, wasabi, and a shrimp skewer—and a Chicago Solstice cocktail with cane rum, hibiscus, raspberries, and port.
Service begins this Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM, and Hubbard Inn's patio is open for the season. Call 312-222-1331 for reservations. See the full menu here. [The Feast]
