For several months, Chicago foodies have been speculating where Stephanie Izard -- the Season 4 winner of Top Chef -- would be opening her Chicago restaurant.
On Friday, The 312 Dining Diva revealed through a source that the restaurant, titled The Drunken Goat, will reside in a former manufacturing building at 809-813 W. Randolph St. in the West Loop.
The building will need a massive makeover seeing as a restaurant has never resided there before.
Izard is partnering with Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm in the venture, the two responsible for Lincoln Park's BOKA, Landmark and Perennial.
According to Izard's Twitter feed, she's not wasting any time getting started. She posted this early Friday:
So when will the doors open? Right now it looks like January or February 2010, according to The Dining Diva.
No word on if that smoker has room for a full goat, much less a drunken one.
