Four vehicles were damaged and a driver suffered minor injuries when scaffolding collapsed on Chicago's North Side Friday, officials said.
Loose scaffolding collapsed just after 8 p.m. Friday at a building near Diversey Parkway and Lakewood Avenue, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.
Three parked vehicles and a passing vehicle were struck in the collapse. The driver of the passing vehicle suffered minor lacerations to the hand, police said.
No other injuries were reported in the collapse.
