Modlife Moves to Bigger Digs

Modlife, a comprehensive resource for 20th-century modern home furnishings, recently moved into a more spacious showroom at 3061 N. Lincoln Ave in Lakeview. Owner Robert Zizzo is now able to display his extensive selection of American and Danish modern furniture into interesting vignettes throughout the space. Discerning shoppers (as well as prop designers, art directors and the like scouting for pieces to lease for photo shoots, TV and film) will find an eclectic mix of Eames, Herman Miller, Hans Olsen and Jens Risom items, as well as European pottery, art glass and mid-century artwork.

Many furnishings can be found in their original state, but Modlife also breathes new life into items that need it. Condition reports are offered for each piece, providing a piece of history along with your purchase. (Try that at Pottery Barn.) Modlife also employs an in-house designer on staff who can help you place that new Eames chair in with your CB2 table. We'll never tell.
