Well the weather outside is kinda frightful, so why not stay warm and cozy inside? Movies are always good for that.
New on the big screen this weekend:
"PUNISHER: WAR ZONE" Ray Stevenson plays a former FBI agent who's trying to take on New York's mob bosses.
"CADILLAC RECORDS" is also a true story based on the famed Chicago Chess Records, and stars Beyonce Knowles and Adrien Brody.
For those itching to celebrate the wonders of the holiday:
Lincoln Park Conservatory's Winter Flower and Train Show.
Steppenwolf Theatre is showing, "Dublin Carol", starring C-S-I'S William Peterson.
Theatre at the Center in Munster, Ind. is showing, "It's a Wonderful Life".
Victory Gardens Theatre is running the popular production, "The Snow Queen".
Chicago Center for the Performing Arts is showing "The Hipmas Carol."
And for a little holiday music:
Check out Aaron Neville and The Neville Quintet Saturday night at The Center for the Performing Arts at Governor's State University.
While this is not necessarily a holiday show, the Smashing Pumpkins play at the Aragon Ballroom on Sunday, and then they take the stage at the Auditorium Theatre on Monday.
Have a great weekend everybody!!!
