2003: Overcrowding and stampede causes multiple deaths at E2 nightclub

Over 1,000 patrons stampeded out of the E2 nightclub after a security guard used pepper spray to break up a fight on the second floor that only had one known exit floor. The congested stampede caused 21 deaths.
