One man was injured in a shooting in broad daylight on Friday afternoon in Chicago's River North neighborhood, police said.
The shooting was reported at around 4:55 p.m. in the 0-100 block of East Grand Avenue. A 47-year-old man was on the sidewalk when he was shot by an unknown person, authorities said. The victim was taken to an area hospital and said to be in good condition.
The shooting was under investigation by Area Three detectives.
