Ten people were seriously injured in a rollover crash early Saturday morning on Chicago's South Side.
The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. near 109th Street and South Doty Avenue in the city's Pullman neighborhood, according to the Chicago Fire Department and Illinois State Police.
A vehicle carrying several people was headed southbound on the Bishop Ford Expressway when it went off the road, through an embankment and a fence, then rolled over in a parking lot, authorities said.
Four people were taken to Stroger Hospital; two to Mount Sinai Hospital; one to Northwestern Memorial Hospital; two to Advocate Christ Medical Center; and a 15-year-old to Comer Children's Hospital, officials said. All 10 were in “serious-but-stable” condition.
