Two people were injured early Saturday in a wrong-way head-on crash involving a semi-truck on I-57 in the south suburbs.
The crash happened about 4:15 a.m. at I-57 near 147th Street, according to Illinois State police.
The driver of vehicle was heading north in the southbound lanes of I-57 when they crashed head-on into a semi-truck, state police said.
The two occupants of the truck and vehicle where taken to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
State police were investigating the crash.
