Suburban police are searching for a man after he allegedly shot two women in a mall parking lot.
According to North Riverside police, they responded to a call of shots fired at 5:46 p.m. Saturday night. They arrived at the mall, located in the 7500 block of West Cermak, to find two women who had suffered gunshot wounds inside of a car.
Police say the women were shot by a man, who fled the scene before authorities arrived.
The incident was isolated, police said, and was domestic in nature. No suspect is in custody, and police are still investigating.
Police did not provide an update on the condition of the two women, but said that they were taken to area hospitals.
