A 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck a southern Illinois town Tuesday morning.
The quake was reported just after 6:45 a.m. about 7 miles east-northeast of Albion, according to the United States Geological Survey.
Residents reported feeling the quake in several parts of southern Illinois.
Further information wasn't immediately known.
Albion is located about 250 miles south of Chicago.
