Police Warn of Armed Robberies on Chicago's North Side

According to Chicago police, the suspect in each of the four scenarios walked up to the victim, pulled out a handgun and stole property before escaping in a vehicle

Police are warning residents of Chicago's North Side of at least four armed robberies that occurred in the Lincoln Park and Gold Coast neighborhoods in less than two weeks.

According to an alert from Chicago police, the locations include:

On Saturday, Jan. 13 in the 1300 block of North Astor Street

On Saturday, Jan. 20 in The 300 block of West North Avenue

On Sunday, Jan. 21 in the 1800 block of North Sedgwick Street

On Sunday, Jan. 21 in the 2200 block of North Bissell Street

Three of the robberies occurred in the early morning hours, authorities said, while the incident at Sedgwick took place in the late evening.
