Three men reportedly stole dozens of Apple products from a popular suburban Target store during a smash-and-grab late Thursday.
Just as the Schaumburg store was preparing to close, one man distracted an electronics employee while two others broke into cases housing Apple products and stole $23,750 worth of items, police told the Daily Herald.
Store employees told police the thieves took 25 iPads valued at $550 each and 25 Apple Watches, valued at around $400 each. The Daily Herald reported the suspects were described as men in their 20s dressed in dark clothing.
Investigators reportedly said they had not yet seen surveillance footage from the incident.
