‘Tilted' Metra Car at Ogilvie Causes Service Disruption

A “tilted” Metra car at the Ogilvie station in Chicago caused multiple tracks to be removed from service during Wednesday’s rush hour, a spokesman for the rail agency said.

Tracks two and three were to be removed from service at the Ogilvie Transportation Center shortly before 5:45 p.m.

A car was “slightly tilted” and struck a bumping post, the spokesman said.

No other information was immediately available.
