Chicago's First Lady Amy Rule doesn't get out in an official capacity very often.
But that will change very soon for the media-shy wife of Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
Ward Room has learned that Rule will leade a welcome committee for the NATO summit and will lead a delecation to NATO headquarters in Brussels during the weekend of March 20.
The delegation, which includes Governor Pat Quinn, Lori Healy and Don Welsh from the Chicago Convention and Tourism Bureau, will unveil “Chicago week” , a series of exhibits, displays, entertainment and other activities that will provide NATO ambassadors, and key officials, with a unique look at the city.
