Get ready for some Chicago-style antiquing.
PBS's "Antiques Roadshow" returns to the city for the first time in more than 10 years to film three, one-hour episodes for its 19th season.
The show films on Saturday at McCormick Place, 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive, in Lakeside Center. Experts will see between 10,000 and 12,000 items, and the show will choose about 90 for broadcast.
Tickets already have been issued, with arrival times listed, and those chosen to appear on the show must have a ticket to enter.
Each ticket holder can bring two items, but the items must fit through a standard door, according to show rules. The show says it will not appraise vehicles, stamps, stock certificates, paper currency, coins, bicycles, tools, fossils, glass fire extinguishers, explosives or hazardous materials.
