Baconfest Sets Lineup for April Return to Chicago

Bacon lovers throughout Chicagoland can rejoice, as the 11th annual Baconfest has set its lineup of culinary delights.

The event, which begins on Friday, April 5 and runs through April 6, will feature over 100 different restaurants and will offer a unique menu of bacon-dishes, served up by the best chefs in the city and suburbs.

According to organizers, Baconfest has raised more than $440,000 over the last decade, and a portion of the proceeds from the event will support the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Over 1.3 million meals have been made possible by funds raised at the festival.

Here are the new restaurants that will be taking part in this year’s event at the UIC Dorin Forum:

General admission tickets for the event cost $85, and come with a three hour tasting session. Bacon-Only tickets will set you back $60, and will not come with drink tickets, and a VIP ticket is available for $160 and come with an hour of early access for bacon enthusiasts.
