Democrat Melissa Bean is heading back to Washington for a third term.
The Illinois congresswoman on Tuesday beat Republican
businessman Steve Greenberg. With 58 percent of precincts
reporting, Bean had 58 percent to Greenberg's 42 percent.
Bean is a Barrington resident who was bidding to keep the
suburban Chicago district she first took in 2004 by beating
long-serving Republican Phil Crane in Illinois' 8th Congressional
District.
