Impeached Gov. Rod Blagojevich brought up Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel again during his testimony Thursday.
Blagojevich said that on November 8, 2008, he discussed his idea of appointing Lisa Madigan with Emanuel.
"He was not against the idea," Blagojevich said. "He was surprised I would even consider it."
Last week, Emanuel testified that no one requested he fund a private foundation in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett.
Emanuel also said no one conveyed a fundraising request to him for the northwest side school that Blagojevich allegedly promised a grant to then delayed in an attempt to force a fundraiser through then-congressman Emanuel's wealthy brother.
